Blake Platt, MD, MHS
Dr. Platt is a surgeon specializing in trauma, surgical critical care, and acute care surgery. He obtained his undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, where he transitioned to the Bloomberg School of Public health and obtained a Master of Health Science. He attended medical school at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University, and then completed his general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship at Louisiana State University. He enjoys caring for those who have suffered trauma, understanding that it is difficult for the patient and their loved ones. Dr. Platt's interests include chest wall reconstruction, trauma systems, and respiratory failure. He is committed to working in the community to provide optimal and consistent care for trauma and acute care surgical patients in the South Sound.
